This Privacy Policy explains how StoresWiki LLC ("ViserShort", "we", "us"), operator of the ViserShort platform, collects, uses and protects your personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Italian law.
Data controller
StoresWiki LLC, Via Giuseppe Mazzini 4, Belpasso, 95032, CT, Italia. Privacy enquiries: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account data — name, email and password (or your Google profile if you sign in with Google).
- Subscription & billing — plan and limited payment details (full card data stays with our payment processor).
- Content you upload — the videos, audio and text you upload to cut, caption and schedule, plus the connected social accounts you authorise for posting.
- Technical data — device, browser and IP address via cookies.
How we use it (legal bases)
We process data to provide the service and your account (contract, Art. 6(1)(b)), to secure and improve the platform and prevent abuse (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)), for optional marketing and non-essential cookies (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)), and to meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Media & AI processing
Videos and audio you upload are processed to generate clips and subtitles (including via our transcription provider) and, where you connect social accounts, to publish on your behalf. We do not sell your content and retain it only as long as needed to provide the service.
Connected social accounts
When you connect a social platform for auto-posting, we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf and use them only for that purpose. You can disconnect at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run ViserShort — transcription/AI providers, the social platforms you connect, payment processor, and hosting, email and analytics services — and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data and object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Security & retention
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, and keep personal data only as long as necessary before deleting or anonymising it.
